A young Sauvignon Blanc from the Petit range, one of the house's fresh, early drinking wines. The grapes grow on the estate vineyards at Găvănoasa, in southern Moldova. Fresh and lively, with pronounced acidity and an open, easy character.

Grapefruit, passion fruit, kiwi and mango, with freshly cut grass behind them.

Palate

Vibrant and dry, with pronounced acidity and green fruit.

The producer

Château Cristi

Château Cristi was founded in 1882 by Vladimir Cristi, a mayor of Chișinău. The estate farms 120 hectares near Găvănoasa, in Valul lui Traian in the south of Moldova, with twelve grape varieties. Its estate wines are harvested by hand, kept to six tonnes a hectare and aged six to twelve months in oak.
