Returns and right of withdrawal

You can change your mind about an order within 14 days, without giving a reason. This page explains how, what it costs you and when you get your money back. It applies to every order a consumer places on vinoverowines.eu.

Fourteen days to withdraw

The period ends 14 days after the day you, or someone you name who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the wine. If one order arrives in several deliveries, it ends 14 days after the last one arrives.

Wine is not excluded. The legal exceptions for perishable goods and for wine sold en primeur do not apply to the bottles we sell, so the full right applies to every order.

How to tell us

Send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing before the 14 days are over. It is enough that your message is sent before the deadline.

You can use the model form at the bottom of this page, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt by email.

Sending the wine back

Return the bottles within 14 days of telling us, to Acacialaan 5, 1910 Kampenhout, Belgium. Pack them so they cannot break in transit.

You pay the direct cost of sending the wine back.

Your refund

We refund everything you paid, including the delivery charge, within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. If you chose a delivery more expensive than our standard delivery, we refund the standard rate only.

We may wait to refund until the wine is back with us, or until you show us proof that you sent it, whichever comes first.

We refund by bank transfer to the account you paid from, at no cost to you, unless you expressly agree to something else.

Opened or damaged bottles

You may inspect the wine the way you would in a shop. Opening a bottle goes beyond that. You keep your right to withdraw, but you are liable for the loss in value, which for an opened bottle can be its full price.

A bottle that arrives broken or faulty, or that is not what you ordered, is a different matter. The two year legal guarantee covers it, not the right of withdrawal, and it costs you nothing. Email us as soon as you can, with a photograph.
