Terms and conditions
These terms apply to every order placed on vinoverowines.eu. Please read them before you order. They are available in English, Dutch and French, and each version has the same force.
Who we are
Vino Vero is a trade name of Artisanal Boutique BV, Acacialaan 5, 1910 Kampenhout, Belgium, enterprise and VAT number BE 1016.540.204, RPR Brussels, Dutch language Enterprise Court.
You can reach us at hello@vinovero.be or on +32 494 71 25 22.
Age
We sell alcohol only to people old enough to buy it. In Belgium that is 16 for beer and wine, and 18 for everything else, including spirits and fortified or aromatised wines such as port, vermouth and madeira. For a delivery outside Belgium the age limit of the delivery country applies if it is higher; in the Netherlands that is 18 for all alcohol. By ordering you confirm that you meet the age that applies to every product in your order. We may ask for proof of age before we accept or deliver an order, and we refuse the sale if we are not sure.
Orders and the contract
The contract is formed when you place your order and we confirm it by email. The confirmation sets out what you ordered, the total price and how to pay.
If a wine sells out after you order, we tell you straight away and refund what you paid for it within 14 days.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euro. A wine's price is shown without VAT, marked so, with the price including 21 percent Belgian VAT beside it. The total you pay, VAT included, is shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
You pay by bank transfer, using the account details and reference shown at checkout and in your confirmation. We set the wine aside for you and send it once your payment has arrived.
Delivery
We deliver to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. We send your order within 30 days of receiving your payment, and usually much sooner. If we cannot, we tell you, and you may cancel and get your money back.
We deliver on Monday and Thursday mornings. An order is delivered on the first of those mornings after the day your payment reaches us.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you name who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the wine. The carrier may ask for identification.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from your order without giving a reason. You pay the direct cost of returning the wine. Our returns page explains how it works and includes the model withdrawal form.
Business customers have no right of withdrawal.
Guarantee
Every bottle comes with the two year legal guarantee of conformity. If a bottle arrives broken or faulty, or is not what you ordered, email us with a photograph and we replace or refund it, at no cost to you.
Your personal data
We use your details to handle your order and as the law requires. Our privacy notice explains what we collect and what your rights are.
Complaints
Send any complaint to hello@vinovero.be or to our postal address. We do our best to find a solution with you.
If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Consumer Mediation Service, through its website, which passes your complaint to the competent body. We have not committed to a particular out of court dispute body.
Applicable law and courts
These terms and every order are governed by Belgian law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection that the mandatory consumer rules of that country give you.
Disputes go to the competent courts under the ordinary rules. As a consumer you can always bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live.
