Bravoure Rara Neagra blend

Red wine · 750ml

A ruby red blend where the fruit of Merlot meets the grip of Cabernet Sauvignon, with Shiraz and the Moldovan Rara Neagra for spice and earth. Matured up to twelve months in oak, from vineyards at Găvănoasa, in southern Moldova. Full and velvety, with smoke running through it.

The producer

Château Cristi

Château Cristi was founded in 1882 by Vladimir Cristi, a mayor of Chișinău. The estate farms 120 hectares near Găvănoasa, in Valul lui Traian in the south of Moldova, with twelve grape varieties. Its estate wines are harvested by hand, kept to six tonnes a hectare and aged six to twelve months in oak.
