A dry rosé from Merlot in the Petit range, light and made for early drinking. The grapes grow on the estate vineyards at Găvănoasa, in southern Moldova. Fresh red fruit with a floral lift, good as an aperitif or with light summer dishes.

The producer

Château Cristi

Château Cristi was founded in 1882 by Vladimir Cristi, a mayor of Chișinău. The estate farms 120 hectares near Găvănoasa, in Valul lui Traian in the south of Moldova, with twelve grape varieties. Its estate wines are harvested by hand, kept to six tonnes a hectare and aged six to twelve months in oak.
