Chateau Cristi Chardonnay Barrel Fermented

White wine · 750ml

Chardonnay from the estate's own vineyards, fermented and aged on its lees in oak and acacia barrels with regular bâtonnage. The fruit is hand picked at Găvănoasa, in the protected Valul lui Traian zone of southern Moldova, where the Cristi family has made wine since 1882. Barrel work gives the wine a creamy weight without covering the fruit, and it has collected a long list of medals, among them Best of Show at Mundus Vini 2020.
