A dry red from Feteasca Neagra, the native dark grape of Moldova, grown in the Valul lui Traian area in the south of the country. The Genesis line takes its name from the four forces the estate sees at work in the vine: light, water, air and earth. Dark fruit, plainly said.

Aroma

Dark cherry and plum.

Palate

Medium bodied, on ripe dark fruit, with soft tannins.

Finish

Fresh and of moderate length.

Podgoria Vin works 450 hectares of vineyards around Cantemir, in Valul lui Traian in the south of Moldova. Its range sets Moldovan grapes such as Feteasca Neagra and Viorica beside the classic international varieties.
