Feteasca Neagra is an indigenous black grape of the region, and this is a straightforward reading of it, twelve months in oak barrels and deep ruby in the glass. Berry fruit and sweet spice on the nose, velvety rather than firm tannins on the palate, and a creamy texture that makes it easy to put on the table.
