A dry white blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, fermented cold to hold its aromatics. Both grapes are grown on the estate at Găvănoasa, in southern Moldova. Full of freshness, with lively citrus, a velvety texture and a clean, persistent close.

The producer

Château Cristi

Château Cristi was founded in 1882 by Vladimir Cristi, a mayor of Chișinău. The estate farms 120 hectares near Găvănoasa, in Valul lui Traian in the south of Moldova, with twelve grape varieties. Its estate wines are harvested by hand, kept to six tonnes a hectare and aged six to twelve months in oak.
